Caesar’s Palace Las Vegas, 9 am in the morning. I remember thinking who is up this early in Las Vegas on a Saturday morning.  The gentleman sitting in the cabana had racing forms all over the table and he ordered an orange juice and I was like good grief, this is going to be a boring cabana....little did I know...

It wasn't long until the rest of the bachelor party made their way down to order something other than orange juice...Mr. Matthews had barely made eye contact and seemed uninterested in the girl walking around in the small white bikini....until it was time for me to leave for lunch... He asked what I was going to eat for lunch. I informed the cabana of boys of the usual salad I had for lunch and frozen yogurt with FROOT LOOPS for dessert!  It was like Christmas in Patrick's eyes when I said Fruit loops...I finally got his attention! I went to lunch and brought Mr. Matthews some fruit loops upon my return. It turns out we both love Froot Loops!

Patrick invited me to dinner that night, of which I was unable to attend:( I genuinely enjoyed waiting on the boys that day; they were all so full of Southern charm!  A few days went by and Patrick popped in my mind...I decided to see if they made it home safely to Arkansas....

One text turned into thousands, texts turned into phone calls, phone calls turned into dates, dates turned into trips, and I will forever be grateful for that man with a lot of racing forms who ordered orange juice in my cabana that day....

From Froot Loops to fiancé, that day way the beginning of a lifetime of adventure and happiness!

Everything Anna wrote above is true.  I can remember thinking it was nice to have someone intelligent that didn’t have 10 tats and weird body piercings.  Plus…she looked amazing!!   However, I was preoccupied with the racing form and wasn’t interested in much conversation.  Thank goodness she was having Froot Loops.  That was certainly the luckiest day of my life because I met such a wonderful woman.  I can’t imagine being any happier with someone and truly look forward to spending the rest of my life with the new Mrs. Matthews.
