What date should I RSVP for the wedding by?
Please kindly RSVP on or before January 3, 2024. We can't wait to celebrate with you all!

What time should I arrive for  the wedding ceremony?
All guests are required to arrive at the port by 10:00 a.m. We cannot stress enough how important it is that all guests arrive on time to ensure Priority Boarding and allow ample time to prepare for the ceremony. Please keep in mind over 2000 people are boarding the ship the same day as our wedding and the check-in process can take up to 30 minutes. Carnival provides special check-in assistance for wedding guests provided they arrive at the pier on time

What do I need to attend the wedding?
A boarding pass and ID. All guests should have their necessary documents filled out before arriving at the pier. All non-sailing guests will need to provide photo identification such as a driver's license or passport, and children under the age of 16 must bring a birth certificate, to check in (visitor/boarding passes will be emailed to all confirmed guests prior to the wedding day.)

What is the dress code for the wedding?
Dress to impress! Semi-formal preferred (suit/tie & cocktail dresses.) Comfortable shoes or a change of shoes is suggested, as there will be walking/standing required during the boarding process.

What if I need extra assistance for the wedding?
We're dedicated to offering a fun and memorable experience to all our guests. Carnival's team of trained crew members provides attentive service and the ship has a variety of accessible features to ensure our guests with disabilities have a relaxing and enjoyable time. The ship features accessible elevators at each elevator bank and accessible routes with signs posted to assist you in locating these pathways.

Will the wedding ceremony, and reception take place indoors or outdoors?
Indoors. Both the ceremony and reception will take place indoors, inside the Havana Bar onboard the Carnival Celebration cruise ship while it is docked in the Port of Miami.

What will the weather be like for the wedding?
Hopefully warm! Miami in March is typically in the 70s with Daily high temperatures ranging from 78°F to 81°F, and daily low temperatures ranging from 65°F to 68°F.

What will the wedding-day timeline look like?
All guests are required to be at the port by 10:00 a.m. Check-in will commence at the designated Check-in area located inside the cruise terminal. Once U.S. Customs grants the ship clearance, we will be given priority boarding. There will be a traditional ceremony onboard the ship, followed by a 1-hour reception. Non-sailing guests will need to disembark the ship immediately after the wedding reception. Sailing guests will keep the party going and join us on our celebration honeymoon cruise.

Will food and drink be served during the wedding reception?
Yes! We will serve hot and cold hors d'oeuvres and cake for dessert. Beverages will include all spirits, wine, beers, sodas, coffee, and tea.

Can I bring my gift to the wedding?
Please don’t. Due to U.S. Customs regulations, all wedding gifts are subject to duty fees. Your presence is present enough, but should you wish to give a gift at our wedding please make alternate arrangements to have them delivered to our home or choose something from our honeymoon registry.

What health and safety measures will you be taking during the wedding?
Have fun. Be safe. Although vaccines are not required, we encourage all guests 5 years of age and older to be up to date with their COVID-19 vaccines, when eligible, and carry proof of vaccination. Although not required for vaccinated or unvaccinated guests, we encourage all guests 5 years and older to take a pre-cruise COVID-19 test within three days of their cruise.

When should I buy my plane tickets for the wedding?
~December 2023. The best time to purchase plane tickets for a domestic trip is about 75 days before your departure date, so we suggest you start looking around the beginning of December. We will be keeping our eyes out for deals and will communicate them to guests as we find them!
