We met in San Antonio nearly 4 years ago and out motto has always been that we met our match. Truly we are each other's "evil twin" because we are so much alike and we even share the same birthday of May 5th!

The big day is August 13, 2011 and we plan on having a tradtional Hispanic wedding (translation: LARGE). We will get married at 6:00 pm in the Georgian Room of the Texas Women's Federation Mansion and a cocktail reception will follow immediately afterward. The requested attire is cocktail attire as all events will take place in a beautiful, historical mansion.

After cocktails, a buffet style dinner will be served by Pappasito's catering and Mariachi Jalisco will provide musical entertainment. Since we met in San Antonio, visit it often, and often see some of our favorite entertainers there...we have hired DJ Abel from San Antonio to provide deejay music beginning at 8 pm and during the band break. The band that will play is Marcos Orozco y Grupo Rebelde...many of you have heard Marcos Orozco before when he performed and recorded with well known Tejano artist David Lee Garza y Los Musicales. The party will continue until 1 am and we hope to make it a wonderful and enjoyable time for ourselves and for all of our guests.

We have elected to make our own travel arrangements as Luis has done an excellent job in the past whenever we have booked our own trips both in and out of the country. We plan to spend 2 to 2 1/2 weeks in Europe. Our mutual dream has been to one day visit Barcelona, Spain so we definitely plan to go there and then also to Paris, France and to Venice, Italy.

What matters most to us is that we have as many of our friends and family as possible with us on our wedding day and that we have one heck of a party. Because we have both been married before and already have all the items that newlyweds typically need, we thought it would be a great idea to set up this honeymoon fund registry since one of our many common interests is travel. If you choose to contribute to this fund or to simply throw in a card with your well wishes into the wishing well that we will have at the reception, our biggest desire is to have you with us.
