Richie and I first locked eyes on one another when we met during the Police Academy in February 2008. Although we only compared test questions and ran next to one another in our PT group during the academy, sparks flew a year later when we bumped into each other while testifying at court. We went on our first date the next day and had a blast during the opening day at the Del Mar Horse Races. After that we were peas and carrots! In September 2009, we vacationed in New Orleans so that I could meet his family and we officially moved in together months later. In January 2010, we celebrated Richie's birthday by taking a romantic day trip to snowy Big Bear and after making a snowman Richie got down on one knee and proposed... It was so beautiful!!! I was so surprised and of course I said "Yes"!

We can't wait for our wedding which will be held on May 21, 2011 at the Lake Arrowhead Resort and Spa, located in the San Bernardino Mountains. We will say our "I do's" during a lake side ceremony surrounded by our family and friends. The ceremony is followed by a cocktail hour with tasty tray passed hors d'oeuvers, beer and wine. An adults only reception will follow so sorry, but babysitters are a must! Pretty please black and white, gray or silver guest attire is requested. Get ready to party the night away surrounded by good friends, family, food, and lots of alcohol!!
