How We Met:
Jeff and I met when I was hired into Kroger as a bagger. Since Jeff was a bagger as well (lucky for me!), he was my trainer for my first few days at work. I had first noticed Jeff the day of my interview at Kroger. I was learning how to use the time clock, and I saw Jeff standing at the end of a register talking to another employee. The first time I saw Jeff, I was so head over heels for him. I thought Jeff was the most handsome man I had ever seen, and I so badly wanted to meet him. Jeff and I got to know eachother very well and instantly became great friends. Ten months later, Jeff asked me to be his girlfriend!
The Proposal:
Jeff and I were out to Olive Garden with our families for my birthday dinner. After our dessert was served, Jeff got my attention and I turned toward him and he simply said, "I love you sweetie." with a big smile on his face. I told Jeff that I loved him too (thinking nothing of it because Jeff always told me he loved me!). Jeff then got down on one knee and said, "I know it's been a long time coming, will you marry me?" I started to cry as soon as I seen him get down on one knee, with the ring box cupped in his hand! After he asked me to marry him, I took the ring, and completely forgot to answer Jeff! My mom had reminded me to answer the question, and so I started shouting, "YES! YES!" with tears rolling down my cheeks! Finally my sister Amanda did the honors of announcing to everyone in the resturant that Jeff and I are getting married! Everyone applauded in the resturant with excitement!
