Chris proposed in one of our favorite vacation spots in Asheville, NC.  After a long day of hiking and driving down the Blue Ridge Parkway Chris took me out dinner and then for a little stroll downtown (DT Asheville is nicer than it may sound lol it's an adorable hippie-mountain town) where we ended up in this cute little park.  When I told Chris to put his cigarette in the trash not on the street, well, he threw it on the street, grabbed my arm and got down on one knee, and then that's when it happened.  Neither one of us really remembers what he said, must have been the nerves, but it was perfect and the ring was perfect!
