Bride

I had never been up Mt. Washington on the Cog Railway. So on a planned get away to NH, Ryan booked the railway tickets up the mountain. Little did I know, that's where he was going to propose. --Was-- going to propose.

Lets start with a smart ass comment Mr. Dansereau decided to make the morning of May 17, 2015. Our Conversation went something like this:

Me: Hey I realized when you were sanding down the boat, you sanded the name off of it, what are you going to name it now, when you re-paint it?

Ryan: I'm going to name it "HER ENGAGEMENT RING" since its going to cost me enough.

Me:*Silence*

Ryan: *laughing so hard......at himself*

On May 17 we had a lot of activity going on in our neighborhood, nothing crazy, just enough for my female nosey instincts to kick in, and be looking out the window ALL DAY LONG. At some point I took a break and went to take a shower. Ryan knew of my peering out the window all day and thought I was ridiculous. I get out of the shower, get dressed, and hear from the living room "OMG BABE COME OUT LOOK AT THIS!" So I come skidding out of the bedroom fly past Ryan , jump on the couch and look out the window. I look left. I look right. I see nothing happening. I'm asking over and over again "what what what!!! WHAT DID I MISS!!!!"  Then from behind me comes Ryan's voice..."um, over here"

I turned around to find Ry down on one knee in the middle of our living room with a ring in his hand.

It was beautiful, and the way he did it may not have been on the Cog Railway, as he planned, but it was so US. The Proposal was perfect in everyway.
