My sweet sweet, thoughtful man did the impossible and surprised me! We obviously had discussed getting married for a very long time, so you wouldn't think that a proposal would be a surprise, but it was so unexpected!

In March Alex asked me if I wanted to start going to the Sante Fe Art District the first Friday of every month, starting in May, to look at all of the fun Art. This was not suspicious in any way because Alex and I LOVE looking at art, its one of our favorite things to do when we travel (even though it is slightly torturous to look at beautful art we cant afford YET).

Alex had asked if we could stop into the "Artwork Network" first, because he had a friend with stuff on display. We strolled around for awhile gazing at the interesting art . I turned the corner into the last room of the exhibit and was beyond confused! I saw a picture of Alex hanging on the wall, I thought he was maybe surprising me with a project him and his friend did, featuring him. Then I saw the painting of Alex down on one knee with a ring box in his hand. I FINALLY processed what was going on, whipped around to find Alex down on one knee ( a replica of the painting). He takes my breath away, I dont know why i was so surprised, he is so creative,I am just beyond lucky.The thoughtful man he is, he even had the whole thing recorded, for us to share this special moment with everyone and our kiddos some day.
