The first time I saw Clay was at a job interview.  After I was hired, he briefly spoke to me about scheduling, without even looking me in the eye.  It took him a couple of weeks to warm up to me, I guess because he's such a rock star.  I didn't hold it against him 'cus he's just so cute. =) A friendship developed pretty quickly, and I realized that he had an amazing personality.  I immediately admired his attitude, humor, and outlook on life.  Around the time I was leaving the restaurant for another opportunity, he made his move.  The tune of our relationship changed over inventory!  Our first date lasted 3 months.  We were inseparable from the beginning.  I'm so happy to have found my perfect match- I honestly couldn't have imagined him.  I can't wait for Nov. 3rd, to claim him as mine forever. 

When I first met Amanda, I was in professional mode as I interviewed her for a job where I worked.  There had been several interviews that day and I had a lot going on, so I’m sure her first impression of me wasn’t the greatest.  She was hired, and shortly thereafter I couldn’t help but notice her beautiful smile and spitfire personality.  She came to work one afternoon and was upset.  We barely knew each other, but I was compelled to pull her aside and try to help her get out of her funk.  That’s when we made our first ‘connection’.  I remained professional at work, but it became very difficult when I saw Amanda come in with a friend to eat dinner.  As fate would have it, I wrote Amanda’s schedule (but not my own) and we ended up having to complete the painful task of weekly inventory together one Sunday night.  It was one of her last nights before moving on to another job, so I made my interests known.  She was somewhat receptive, and after a little coercion, we started seeing one another.  Within the first week, she made it clear to me that she intended to move to Austin at the beginning of the year, so under no circumstances would she be available for any long-term relationship.  I took the information in stride but had such an immediate interest in her that I felt I might be able to change her mind one day…Fast forward to Christmas 2011 – one of the best days of my life!  We exchanged gifts and the last gift given to me from Amanda was a note revealing her intention to stay in Dallas and continue our amazing journey together.

Amanda is a Godsend…I have had the great fortune of meeting her amazing family and loving friends.  It’s no wonder she is who she is – she has an incredible foundation and network of people that have been there through thick and thin with her.  She’s accepted my inadequacies, yet has amplified everything good about me.  I cannot imagine my life without Amanda in it.   The time we’ve spent together thus far may be short, but the experiences we’ve already had sometimes take years to attain.  Never in my life has my future looked so bright!  I’m excited to take our relationship to the highest imaginable level, and look forward to all the spoils life will bring to us both!
