It's your typical boy meets girl story. . .oh, wait. . .it's not typical at all!  Pete and I were set up on a blind date in June 2011.  Yes, a blind date!  I remember seeing him for the first time and thinking he is so handsome.  Throughout the course of the night I added funny, charming, kind and giving to my first impression.  

It was a fun night but we decided that neither of us were prepared to begin dating anyone seriously.  We decided instead to become friends.  

We continued our friendship, slowly getting to know each other better until my annual Christmas Party.  Pete joined the party and we kissed under the mistletoe.  It was in that moment, at that party that we made the decision that we wanted to be together, that we were ready to become a couple.  

Since that Christmas party, we have grown together through so many experiences.  And we are now embarking on our happily ever after!
