| | | Keith and I knew each other previously, as our daughters, Sarah and Nirvana, grew up together as best friends. It wasn't until both of our previous marriages were over that we ran into each other again, and of all places, at the local dollar store. My daughter Grace and I were grabbing a few groceries for dinner one evening and we ran into Keith doing the same on his way home from work. I was recently separated and needed some electrical work done in the upstairs of our home. Keith came by a few weeks later and fixed an outlet that had burnt out and could have burnt our house down! We began reminiscing about our kids growing up and catching up on all that had happened since we last new one another. A couple of phone calls later, we were headed out on our first date! |
 | | People always say, "Timing is everything." This has definitely been true for Our Story! Although, Keith's marriage had ended many years prior, he had been working on the road as an industrial engineer traveling from state to state for a few years. The end of my marriage coincided with Keith's decision to come off the road so he could spend more time with his kids. His daughter, Shelby, was expecting his 3rd grandchild so he wanted to be home more. Coincidentally, my daughter Grace was expecting my first grandchild and both our grandbabies were born 1 week a part from each other. If either one of us had stopped by that local dollar store a few minutes earlier or later, we never would have run back into one another. Once we started dating, it seemed our lives were already so familiar and fatefully intertwined, we could not ignore God's hand being ever so present in bringing us together! |
