Bride

One day, while perusing the pictures at his co-workers desk, Jason stumbled upon a picture of 7 beauties lined up in front of a limo.  There pictured was a tall brunette that caught his eye.  At this exact moment, Bonnie was calling her best friend/roommate, Courtney.  Looking down at her phone, Courtney realized that the girl in the picture that her co-worker Jason was asking about, just so happened to be calling her.  Courtney handed the phone to Jason and told him that the girl in the picture was calling.  Jason answered the phone.  After about 5 minutes of flirtatious chatter, Jason handed the phone back to Courtney.  Before Courtney could hang up, Jason shouted in the background an invitation for Bonnie to be his date for their company Christmas party.  At first, having never seen Jason, Bonnie was apprehensive to accept the invitation.  Discretely inquiring with Courtney as to what this stranger, Jason, looked like, Courtney assured Bonnie that he was good looking.  Still hearing the apprehension in Bonnie’s voice, Courtney also mentioned that the Christmas party was going to host an Open Bar.  Bonnie agreed to go.

After their first date on December 11th 2009, Jason and Bonnie knew they had something special.  Not wanting to rush a good thing, they took their time to get to know one another.  They would talk or text every day, but would wait days before making plans to see each other.  When their parents would inquire as to the status of the relationship, both would answer “we are just friends”.  This status changed in July of 2010 when Jason was schedule for knee surgery – his second after a career ending injury that occurred while playing college baseball – when Bonnie offered to take the time off work to be Jason’s aid.  After 2 weeks of day in and day out time together, they grew to be inseparable.  By Christmas of that year, they were making plans to move in together.  In April of 2011, Jason and Bonnie moved into a 1 bedroom apartment by the beach in Oceanside.  Here they planned to save for a year to be able to put a down payment on a home together.

In April of this year they closed escrow on a 4 bedroom 2.5 bath home, with a pool, in Vista.  The last 3 months have been spent remodeling the home, giving it a major facelift and making it their own.  With the house now livable, their plans after the wedding are to start a family; beginning with the addition of a bull mastiff, Jason’s favorite dog breed.  They're hoping to announce a pregnancy in Spring of next year, but ultimately know that it will be God's will that will direct that outcome.
