Bride

Michael and I actually met 24 yrs. ago. It was at my sister's wedding in S. FL.  We were both in our early 20's.  Our introduction was an instant connection and attraction. Whenever a chance presented itself, we hung out as much as we could during the week of the wedding. After the wedding, Michael returned to his hometown of Ohio, and I was living in S.FL.  For a short time we had phone contact, but we would go on to live seperate lives.

Some 18 yrs later, incredibly enough...we reconnected when I went to visit my sister in Texas. Michael found out thru his cousin, my brother-in-law, that I would be visiting for Memorial Day weekend and that I was..."in fact," single!  I waited outside of Houston Hobby Airport for my sister to pick me up, and I was surprised by Michael  as he called out my name. (He said that he walked passed me the first time). There was once again an instant attraction!  As the day went on, smiles were exchanged along with much flirtation. We went out to dinner that night and of course sat next to each other!  Then, at the end of the evening as I was sitting on the back patio lounge chair, Michael followed me out, sat down next to me, and planted a kiss! XXOO

After the holiday weekend, Michael returned to his state of CO., and it was only 2 wks. before he came to visit me in Boca Raton. From that moment on, our adventure began!

It was quite the long distance relationship!

CO to FL; FL to CO; CO to N.C.; N.C. to FL; CO to Orlando; and many car trips from Orlando to Boca and Boca to Orlando. And so on and so forth....

*Michael's mom and twin brother Mark live in Orlando, his daughter Samantha lives in N.C., and my 2 children Mark and Leanna in Coral Springs, FL.

Spontaneous adventure:One day while I was working, I decided to give Michael a call. He was at his house in N.C., so I had the overwhelming feeling of him being closer to me than CO! I said to him jokingly, Hey! I am free this weekend. Wanna catch a movie? Next thing I know, we arranged to meet half way in Georgia! We had an incredible and romantic weekend exploring Savannah, Georgia!

It has been our strong connection and passion for each other to sustain a long distance relationship and eventually blend our lives together in CO.
