Darren and Jamie met through her mutual friends and maid of honor, Victoria. Victoria and Jamie had dinner plans for a girls night. While getting ready, Victoria's boyfriend called Jamie and wanted her to meet Darren before going to dinner. The girls got ready early and decided to meet the guys prior to dinner. They meet at Ocean Prime (one of Darren's go to spots in Dallas). It was Friday night, so Ocean Prime had a live band. After introductions- Darren immedialtely asked Jamie to dance. After Jamie and Darren danced to their first song they heard clapping from one of the tables. Turning around they noticed Dallas Cowboys owner, Jerry Jones clapping and telling them to dance again. Not wanting to let Mr. Jones down, they danced a few more songs. From that moment, they were smitten with each other.
