 | Jay and I met for the first time on December 16, 2016. We met because mutual friends thought that we would be perfect for each other and decided to play match maker. Jay, nor I, thought this was a great idea and we both tried to avoid the subject when brought up. Jay had just left for work and as he stepped off the helicopter the match making began. Jay finally gave in and sent me a message on Facebook trying to start a conversation. His favorite story to tell is that I ignored him for a few days and he finally gave up. Haha. In all reality, I am pretty shy until I get comfortable around someone so I just didn't know what to say to him or talk to him about. A few days, maybe a week, went by without us talking and one day I felt compelled to send him a message simply saying "I hope that you are having a good hitch". From that day forward we talked nonstop to one another. Gage and I were going to the zoo on December 16th to look at the Christmas lights and invited him to join since we had still not met face to face at this point. He shocked me when he accepted the offer and met us there. Jay and Gage ended up bonding after a while that night over talking about "the big bike" (the maverick). It all began that night and not too many months after that we knew that we wanted to spend the rest of our lives together. We have made so many memories since then and I am excited for the next chapter to begin and add to our memories. |
