Bride

Like every summer we prepared to go to Fort Morgan to the beach at the end of July. What I did not know was that Jay had planned the surprise of my life for while we were there. Jay was famous for always telling me not to expect a ring on any holidays or at the beach because "that is too cliche". I was not expecting a ring because of these comments. The first night that we were there he asked me if I wanted to go ahead and take family pics to get them out of the way. I, of course, told him that we had all week and I would rather wait, not knowing what the rush was all about. The next two days it was raining so pictures were not even discussed. Finally, on Tuesday, July 31, 2018 it was overcast but Jay said we were taking pictures that night so I needed to go to the room early enough to get ready for them. As we were walking down we were discussing who we would get to take the pictures and Jay said he would just ask a random person. He walked up to a lady sitting by herself and said she was kind of aggravated with him at first until he told her his plans to propose. He said she threw her stuff to the side and jumped up. Haha. We began taking pictures and then he said he wanted some of just us. We took one or two and that is when he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him! It was so perfect and was the best surprise!
