Walter & I met on a dating website believe it or not!  Our first date was at Denny's on 6th Avenue after he got off work on July 30, 2010 at about 11:30 at night.  He was so cute, he was shaking and nervous!  He brought me flowers, and they were so beautiful.  Neither one of us were very hungry so we decided to have some desert instead.  We talked and had our desert and he was such a gentleman.  He walked me to my car and give me the first kiss!  He was litterally shaking!  Anyhow, I went home and he went home.  The next day I called him and asked him to come to Gig Harbor to walk along the water and he agreed.  I do believe that is the day we really fell for each other.  We walked along the harbor and talked and laughed.  Before we knew it we were at a patch of grass that we decided to sit down and talk and watch the boats in the water.  The day was perfect.  Sun was shining, and it was not to hot.  That was when he asked me to be his girlfriend :)  I told him that I would have to think about it and get back to him.  So we continued to walk along the water we ran across a sign that told us that Gig Harbor used to have Rooster races back in the day, we laughed imagining people trying to get roosters to go across a finish line.  Then we continued walking more  and ended up at this little shop at the end of the strip where I found a keychain that I really liked, and he bought it for me when I was not looking.  Then gave it to me on our walk back to the cars.  

When we got back to the cars, I invited him up to my place to hang out.  I was babysitting my granddaughter that day and my parents were watching her for me while I went out on a date.  I told him he was welcome to come back with me and he accepted.  So we got back to my place, then we walked over to my parents house to get Jai'Aunna and he got to meet the parents on the first date!  And yes STILL shaking!  Mom and dad invited us to stay for Papa Murphy's pizza, so we did and then went back to my place with the baby and spent a little more time together.  Then it was starting to get late and he had to get back to his place to do laundry.  I think the hardest part for him is that very next day he had already scheduled a vacation with his mom and sister and of cours little Miss Kaci.  He spent so much time texting me and calling me while he was at the ocean, he was like a teenager in love!  I have to admit I felt the same way.  While he was gone I told him on the phone that I would let him know my answer to being his girlfriend when he got back.  

So, our next date was on the Friday after he returned. I went over to his house to spend the weekend and yes, he was STILL shaking!  So cute!  But anyhow, I finally let him off the hook and told him I would be his girlfriend!  Then the fun part, his family wanted to meet me!  This woman that has swept their Walter off of his feet head over heels.  So here we go out to Eatonville to meet the family!  It was like a panel!  When we first got there it was just Uncle Cecil and Mom, they asked me what I had made him for breakfast.  (We had buscuits and gravy for breakfast by the way)  And then more and more family memebers showed up a few at a time.  And all of them asked the same question,  "What did you have for breakfast"  Now they all come to my house for the good cooking!
