Bride

I didn't plan on going out the day of my birthday but I ended up meeting some friends at Vintage Tavern after brunch with the family. I knew Kalei's mother and she introduced us not long after I arrived. Kalei had recently moved to Smyrna from Pennsylvania where he grew up. We walked across the street to the Oyster Festival but I didn't have cash for the entry fee. Kalei was a gentleman and paid my way so I didn't have to go back. We ended up talking for the remainder of the night and I left much later than I planned for a Sunday evening! We've been going strong ever since! I received the best birthday present a girl could ask for, the love of my life!

Groom

Well you read Katie's story on how we met, but now it's time for my side of the story. My mom and I went out on a normal Sunday, which happened to be Katie's birthday.  Now, the night before I saw a pretty girl smile, and I haven't seen a smile that pretty in awhile, but figured I'd never happen across her again. It just so happened that I did get to see that pretty smile again. My mom made the introductions, and we brought her with us across the way for some birthday shots. They tried to make her pay the entrance fee, so I told her to go ahead and paid for it myself. After some more talking, we eventually went on a "date" and then later had our first date. Now I get to see that pretty girl smile every day.
