Jason and Laura met at The Greenroom Community Theatre while Laura was running lights and Jason was working tech for John David Brown III's, The Clockmakers Child. 

Laura had already been told from the theatre sages aka, Cathi Gann and Ann Kraft that she and the "new tech guy" were going to get together! After dismissing the thought and embracing her independent single woman life she met "the new tech guy" and instantly knew there was something about him that she wanted to get to know better.

After playing hard to get and after several dinners with their theatre family they started work on Trip to Bountiful! Little did they know that this would be the start of something magical! They officially started dating on April 26, 2015 after Jason asked Laura to be his girlfriend out by the fire pit at their now home. 

Cue the first year and all of the adventures that ensued! From camping trips, to the great July 4th flood of 2015, to the house remodel, family gatherings, new jobs, leaving jobs, starting a new business, family canoe trips, many DIY projects, one new 4-wheeler, our first Christmas and hosting holidays in our home, rock crawling competitions, several plays and theatre gigs, and so much more. 

Jason and Laura recently started a blog called Creating Sparks in which they can share their sparks of life, love, and happiness with others!
