Bride

As most people already know, Jed and I met at the gym. I will never forget the moment I first saw him. He was wearing a neon yellow tank top doing these side to side pull ups with his legs straight out. I remember looking at my sister, Nicholette, telling her how impressive that was (not to mention how hot he was)! For the next few days at the gym we kind of stalked him just so we could watch him! I actually would refer to him as "the hot guy at the gym" to my Momma because I didn't know his name. Nicholette and I finally asked our brother Joey, who works at the gym, what his name was and he responded with "Jeffrey Dixon." Joey asked me if I wanted him to talk to him for me and I told him no, I just thought he was hot and I wasn't interested in a relationship at the time. Well, with no regard to my wishes, Joey talked to him anyways.

Naturally, once I learned his name I stalked him on facebook and sent him a friend request. When he finally accepted my friends request, I immediately texted Nicholette and told her that the hot guy and I were now friends on facebook. About a day later or two later Nicholette and I were getting ready to leave the gym and were joking with our brother about a guy commenting to my brother that Nicholette and I were two hot lesbians and it just so happened that Jed was also leaving the gym so he heard our conversation. Luckily, Joey told the other guy that Nicholette and I were in fact not lesbians, but we were his sisters. Jed ended up walking out with us and he said a few words but all I could remember was how perfect I thought he was. Nice body, nice smile, nice truck, he was perfect! Well on December 5, 2013, a few days after that conversation, I get a message on facebook from "Jeffrey Dixon" that says "So the lesbians aren't coming to the gym tn haha." I actually took a screenshot and I still have it!

We started talking through facebook and then one day he hit me with the "my facebook messenger is messing up, what's your number?" We talked for about a week or so and then on December 14, 2013 (which also happens to be his Momma's birthday) he asked me to come out with a few of his friends to have a few beers. I told him that I would but I had my Christmas dinner with my family that night and it would have to be afterwards. If anyone of you know me, then you know that my family is rather large and this dinner consists of about 50+ people. Well, my Momma and Aunt Beth insisted that I invite him over to our dinner. I told them absolutely not because I hadn't even hung out with him yet. Of course, they won and I invited him over. I knew he would obviously say no but to my surprise he said yes! He was nervous about coming because he said he wasn't dressed up for a Christmas dinner and I informed him that most my uncles and cousins were all dressed in head to toe camo, he'd be fine.

He showed up around 6:30-7 that evening and I quieted most of the house to introduce everyone to my friend "Jeffrey Dixon." You see, Jed didn't inform me until a week or two after that night that he actually hated Jeffrey and he went by Jed. So for about two weeks I had been calling him Jeffrey and so was my family. He is still in my phone as "Jeffrey Dixon" and I refuse to change it to Jed lol! Well that night we never actually made it out to have drinks with his friends. We stayed at my Momma's talking until with my Momma and Step Dad until about 2am until he asked me if I wanted to go for a milkshake. We went to our first of many trips to cookout for a milkshake and he ended up leaving my Momma's around 4am that morning.

That night marked the way for these past 3.5 years. Meeting him was the best thing that could have ever happened in my life and I cannot wait to spend the rest of my life calling him my husband!
