Ok, so I know this is where most people put a romantic story about the proposal!  Unfortunetly, mine didn't go that way...I hate to say it, but it was kind of a train wreck.

Long story short - the first time, was a bomb...Wont go into details....Second time, Lela and I went to pick out a new ring on the way to a movie for our date night.  She found this one and it was incredible!!!  Antique, but yet not to antique.  I bought the ring and it took 2weeks for it to be sized.  The day it was ready Lela said she wanted to go get it.  I told her she couldn't, and on my lunch break I went to the Jeweler and pick it up.  Worried that something was wrong with it I took it to Lela's work and outside, behind her work I pulled the box out of my pocket, opened the box and handed the ring to her.   I pulled it out and slide it on her finger and she smiled and said she loved it.

Like I said, not the best or romantic proposal out there!  But, the wedding will be incredible!

Lela's Note: Yep- that pretty much covers it! I think he was just excited I was going to get married finally. LOL
