We are so excited to finally make it official. Most people would say starting a family would be making it official, but we are also doing it on paper as husband and wife. We have known each other for almost 13 years, meeting at Penn State University. Mary, a junior, was a Lion Ambassador, who provided tours to prospective students. Chris, a freshman, was a full hour early for the tour and decided to nap on one of the nearby couches in the lounge. Mary decided that she would wake him up and poke some fun at him about needing to get in the gym.  Who knew she would still be doing this almost thirteen years later? Chris did not think she was very funny, but did think she was cute, so he asked for her phone number. We hung out for the rest of the summer before Mary left for State College. After many years of friendship throughout college, grad school, traveling, and careers, we decided to give a relationship a shot. Over four years later, we are about to embark on one of the biggest journeys of our lives. We are excited to invite our loved ones to witness our union and celebrate afterwards. We truly wish we had the ability to invite all those who are dear to us, but cannot due to certain limitations.  We hope everyone understands and continues to support us on our special day.
