John and I met in middle school. We were both in the same honors classes (I first noticed him in Geometry) and got to know each other through mutual friends. I moved back to Maryland a short time later but we continued to talk and he came to every single chorus competition in Florida. We traveled back & forth often to see eachother after we graduated high school. Finally John made the move to Maryland where he found a job as an Executive Chef. We moved into an apartment together and about six months after that he proposed :)
