Welllllll I always had a feeling of when Rico was going to pop the question!  I had been texting one of my college friends and eastern star sister for weeks about it! All the what ifs and I was a nervous wreck!  But when I woke up that day I can honestly say I felt an anointing over me, a blessing that God said yes to one of his children because I waited patiently on the one he saw fit for me!  I tried to prepare for the moment and got caught in it, I cried and I cried some more because I was and still am so thankful for being blessed with this awesome man of God!  

It was planned for quite some time but I was so nervous as the day approached.  I had already spoken to her father, my parents and siblings that I had to make sure it was right.  On May 24th, 2015 while celebrating our birthdays and Memorial Day with a BBQ, we invited family and friends over to celebrate with us.  What she did not know was, many of the guests arriving knew what was planned and why they were there.  I waited until everyone was fed (her father was on the grill) and made a speech thanking everyone for coming out.  With the help of my oldest son Nas, we got down on one knee and asked her for her hand in marriage...what followed next...MARRIAGE!!!
