How we met.  Well we met through an online dating site, both of which we said we would never even try.  However, after each of us being convinced by our friends, we figured why not try?  We could have a chance of meeting people in a big city that we normally might not meet.  I, Scott, sent her a message and we hit it off instantly.  We had so much in common which was unusual.  

Then came our first date.  We met at a local Mexican restaurant and we ended up sitting and talking for hours.  When we left the restaurant we said our goodbyes and I forgot to even walk her to car!  She thought I wasn't interested.  To this day we have a good laugh about that incident.  Over the next 6 months we dated and grew closer.  I finally asked her to be my official girlfriend in November of 2015.  This leads us to March of 2016 where I first told her I loved her.  Things began growing quickly with our feelings by this point.  So, we started looking at rings in June and I proposed to Shelly on July 4, 2016.  She never really officially said "yes" because emotions overcame her and she started crying instantly.  I accepted that as a "yes" however!  

And now here we are planning a wedding and honeymoon.  We are so excited to spend the rest of our lives together and see what God has in store for our futures.
