I am from Coamo Puerto Rico, a town only 30 minutes from Juana Diaz PR, which is Eligio’s home town. I have lived in Clarksville TN since 2001 and in my home in North Windwood subdivision since 2002. When I met Eligio the summer of 2015 I was surprised to learn he had been in the Windwood subdivision across the road since 2006 and all that time we had never met!  We live less than half a mile from each other. Talk about fate! Our paths were meant to cross when God decided it was the right time. Thank you, Lord, for blessing me with Eligio as my best friend and future husband. <3

When I saw Thomasa's picture for the first time in February 2015 while surfing FaceBook, I was enchanted! I had no clue she was my neighbor until much later that year. Needless to day,  I sent her a friend invite on Facebook. It was not until that summer when we met in person that we finally learned we had so much in common to include our Puerto Rican heritage, neighboring home towns in the island, and how close we live to each other in Clarksville. Everytime I went down Hazelwood Road in the past years, I would pass by her back yard without a clue that so many years later we would meet for the first time... Thomasa, MY sunflower...
