Andre' and I met during the summer of 2004 at the Wayne State University law school library in Detroit.  We both had just graduated from law school that May.  We were in the law library studying for the bar exam and Andre' spotted me from across the library.  He waited until I took a break from studying, walked over to me and introduced himself.  I told him I was new to Detroit.  He offered to show me around Detroit and introduce me to other law school graduates.  Andre' was born and raised in Detroit.  From that moment on, we became close friends.  

In 2005, he moved across the country to California for a job opportunity.  Even though he lived thousands of miles away, we always kept in touch and spoke to each other on a regular basis. 

Three years later our friendship blossomed into a relationship and the rest is history.
