Bride

We were on one of our many date nights and he was acting like something was up his sleeve all night! lol He proposed on River Street by the water on September 28th, close to where we had our first of many dates 2 years ago. I will never forget it! I was so excited as it became one of the happiest days of my life!

I couldn't tell you how nervous I was. I didn't know exactly when, where, and how I would pop the question. I just knew I had the right ring, I was with the right person, and that I was making the right choice. The last thing I wanted was to mess it up. As luck would have it, she decided she wanted to go to River Street one evening, which was where we had our first date. And there it was! Just like that, I had my where and my when. I can't lie, I was worried about having a grand gesture, and it blowing up in my face if she rejected me. So the safe bet was to propose with less people around. A short walk from Tubby's Seafood, where we had our first date, we were along the sidewalk glancing out into the water. It was getting dark, so there wasn't too many people walking along. I wasn't sure if she appreciated the fact that it was a private moment, or that I didn't wait too long to pop the question. But I was sure that she wanted to spend the rest of my life with me, and that's all that mattered.
