Amber Waitukaitis & Bryan Colon
Our Story
Bryan and I initially met at my store over a year before we started dating. He was shopping for furniture for his new house, and, by luck, I was the one who helped him. Once the purchase was complete, we didn't speak or see each other again until August 7th, 2008. We both happened to go to Dillon's, a local club, on the same evening. We both recognized one another, started talking, and got along marvelously. Dillon's has been a spot we have visited off and on throughout the course of our relationship and on October 1st, 2009, Bryan surprised me by proposing to me there, making it to date the happiest day of my life.
If you want the full story of the night we met and his proposal, read my journal.
Our Wedding
We have decided to have our ceremony in a beautiful outdoor setting, my parent's backyard. They have a large patio, beautiful flowers, and a gorgeous fountain. It looks like something out of home and garden magazine! The whole setting is very elegant and will make for a beautiful formal setting. Early October in Sierra Vista is usually warm and I think a sunset wedding on the patio will be very romantic.
The location is 1771 Santa Cruz Circle, Sierra Vista, AZ 85635.

Our Reception
We intend to have the reception also at my parents house. Evening temperatures are typically mid 60's to 70's in October, so it should provide for an intimate, romantic atmosphere.
Many people have been asking me about dress for the evening, I would say semi-formal to cocktail attire would be appopriate.
Note: while the temperatures should be mild, it may be wise to bring a light sweater just in case.
