My King is a man of few words...so I will share my experience with you.
I had decided it was not meant for me to find a man and I had told the Lord that if I was suppose to be married that he would need to make sure that my husband found me. I had closed the dating site accounts and had decided to focus on my relationship with the all mighty and my career.
That is exactly what I was doing when one day while clearing away old e-mails {I only have 57,000 more to go...LOL) I came across several from this one gentleman on Christian Mingle. My curiosity got the best of me and I checked him out. I was intrigued, I must admit. I found him to be very handsome with kind eyes. His e-mails were brief, simple and kind. I decided to join for one month just to tell him that I was no longer in Michigan and that he probably should focus his efforts on someone closer.
He was not having any of that! He made it very clear that distance did not matter to him, he had to meet me.We spoke daily for several months and our friendship grew. On Christmas day he came to California to meet me.
That was two Christmas's ago. That is the story of our begining and the best is yet to come... |
