| | | It's important to note first-hand that I wouldn't change a single part about my life. Sure, there were some challenging times, but who would I be without them? I always knew I would be happy, I just didn't know this would be my route. I am blessed. I feel lucky, secure, happy, fulfilled, loved, cherished, respected and adored like I never thought I would be - or rather, like I never thought possible all at once. I now know this has been my path all along - the one that He chose for me. Michael is a gracious man who has a heart for his family and friends that is wonderful to witness.
Our story is a cute one - we went to high school together, and I was friends with his sister Debbie through cheer which is how we met. So we were friends for a bit then drifted apart once I graduated. Being that we are one year apart, we didn't talk much after that as can sometimes happen with friends. Two and a half decades later, with the help of social media and all-year class reunions, we found eachother's company at the perfect time in both our lives.
I cannot wait to grow old with him and am so grateful to you for being able to share this special day with us. Thank you,
Teri |
 | | You know most men going back to high school, if honest, would almost admit they were happy to see their sister become a cheerleader, because we all know cheerleaders hang out together! My sister, Debbie and Teri proved that theory and that's how I first met Teri. But something was different. Instead of trying to ask her out, or even try to kiss her, we did a lot of talking and became good friends. Although our tight friendship was fairly short-lived, I knew she was a special gal. As most young lives go, we drifted apart and followed the young paths placed before us, but only fond memories of her remained.
After we reconnected as adults, and a few conversations, I realized the only thing that had changed about that very special lady I knew as a kid, was that she was not a very special woman! I lost bet to Teri on Facebook (on purpose), which drew us together because I owed her dinner and drinks, but after one date I knew I not only wanted her continued friendship, but her future forever partnership.
