Bride

I am so excited to be a Bride, especially to my amazing Groom! One of the last things my mother said to me when she passed away was, "Cassie Denise, don't you ever settle for a man that is any less than the man your Father is. He is the best, and that's what you deserve!" I believe with my whole heart that I have found a man my beautiful mother would approve of a million times over!

I grew up in the small town of Van Buren and have had the same group of friends my entire life! I may be a little bias when I say that I had the best childhood one could ever hope for. I grew up in a house that was constantly full of uncondtional, godly love. My parents were an unshakeable example of the marriage I hoped to have one day. They were best friends, teammates, servants to each other, and soulmates in every way a girl could only dream of. My brother is and always has been my biggest fan, my role model, and my partner in crime. He is an amazing man of God and continually keeps me accountable and pushing me to be the best person and wife to Steve possible. It is only because of the family God blessed me with that I am the person I am today.

After graduation I moved to Fayetteville and became a Hog, spent a year in South Africa with 20 of the most amazing people on the planet, fell in love with cross cultural work, and finished my undergrad as a John Brown Eagle as an Intercultural Studies major. I now work for NorthWest Orthodontics and have my own makeup business on the side. {SassyCassMakeup}

I have a passion for loving on God's people, seeking Him first, and I'll always say that I left my heart in South Africa. One day I hope my husband (hint hint) will take me back there to visit , or stay a bit ;)

Groom

Steve would tell you proudly that he is from Turkey Scratch, Arkansas. (I had the same reaction you are having right now!) He moved with his family to Beebe when he was in the 9th grade. His amazing family still lives in Beebe and it has quickly become my "home" too.

Steve has a family I am so honored to join! His parents are still so in love and love their kids with so much passion. Steve with out a doubt got his work ethic from his Daddy, Tim and his zest for life from his Momma, Carol. Tim is a strong man who provides and takes care of his family in every Biblical sense God ever intended for a man to do. Carol, like Steve, never has a dull moment. She is always laughing, smiling, cares for her kids and reminds me so much of the way my mom would take care of Justin and I. Steve has an older sister Stephanie who I am so happy to call my Sister. Stephanie and I have already shared such a special moment when her tears of happiness assured me that the wedding dress I had tried on was 'THE DRESS.' Stephanie is married to a wonderful man, Colby and they have just about the most precious kiddo alive, Dylan -- who we are training to call me Aunt Sassy ;)

After graduating from being a Beebe Badger Steve became a Razorback -- and I mean that literally. Steve was the mascot for the UofA and had the time of his life in college. Pretty much everyone on campus knew who 'Steve Sparks' was and he was involved in just about everything he could possibly have time for! Once he finished his undergrad Steve moved back to Beebe and started Pharmacy school at Harding. I speak for both of us when I say it has been the longest, toughest, most trialing 4 years of his(our) life. Steve now lives in Fayetteville and is finishing up his last year of school in Pharmacy rotations up in NWA!

Steve is the most hard working and determined man I have ever known. He has his goals set and there is nothing that will ever stop him from reaching them. He loves people and loves entertaining. There is never a dull moment around Steve and he loves seeing the people around him smiling and laughing
