We met on a mission trip on Long Island, Bahamas. Caleb was the CYN summer intern, and Ashley was part of the short-term Lake Forest Church trip. The two officially met through introductions in the Nassau airport but later in the week became close friends...Ashley was a little shy at first. The two stayed close friends over the summer while Caleb finished out his internship and then took his senior year at Appalachain State University. The two met up for coffee chats every now and then. On April 19th, 2015 (Caleb's birthday), Caleb asked Ashley on their first official date. May 13th they went to Waterbean Coffee, Brick house for dinner, and then finished with an evening stroll through the Davidson College campus, and the rest is history!
