Bride

Where to begin? Well, as many of you know, I was a Navy kid growing up. Simply put, I got to travel the world. When my dad retired, he and my mom chose to settle down in the city of Henderson, NV. This is where I have called home for the past 15 years. From Thurman White MS, to Clark HS, and finally to the BEST university ever - UNLV (Go Rebels!) - I have worked hard in the Clark County School District, and now I am a first grade teacher! Since I moved here, I haven't seen myself living elsewhere.

My life changed in December of 2012 when Dina (now my sister-in-law) suggested that I video call Mike via Skype. At first I was unsure due to my shy nature, but then there was a little voice in my head that said "Go for it Sarah!!!" Let me just say, if I didn't listen to myself or my sister-in-law, I would have regretted it. I cannot imagine life without my Mike. He is my everything, and I cannot wait for July 8th so I can say "I do, forever and always!"

I was born and raised in Las Vegas, NV and went to AMSAT at Clark High School. There I met the majority of my friends who would help shape my life to where it is today. After high school, I went to the University of Nevada, Reno (wolf pack!) and earned my bachelor's and master's degree in civil engineering (notice the bridge in the picture). After school, I started working for a structural engineering firm back in Las Vegas. This was the last place that I wanted to come back to, but was the best choice I ever made. I had been back in Las Vegas for almost a year when I started going out with Sarah. From then on, as they say, the rest is history. I can't wait to be married to Sarah so we can start the rest of our lives together. I look forward to seeing everyone at our special day and hopefully this helps you get to know me a bit better.

(P.S. I somehow managed to turn Sarah into a Mets Fan. I do not know how I have not been locked away for committing this horrible crime, but go METS!)
