Kathryn is a native of the state of Michigan, which is a fact everyone likes to remember when she cites her displeasure with cold. Kathryn tends to reject her michigan born reality and instead lovingly embraces her Kentucky roots with a love of Bourbon, an insistance on watching the Derby no  matter where in the world she is, and a deep love of UK athletics. Beware the subject of politics or international relations when talking to Kathryn, you'll either receive silence in return or she'll launch into a 20 minute passionate tirade about the state of affairs (it depends on the subject and day). Her favourite passtimes include but are certainly not limited to reading political theory (because why not), playing video games or watching movies from her childhood that everyone around her hates but she loves dearly, yelling at the TV during a football match and planning her next adventure.

Nathan hails from the great state of Ohio. While his family moved around several times during his childhood (they joke it was Witness Protection), Cincinnati is where he considers home. It may be because that's where he went to college, or because that's where his family spent most of the time however the most prominent theory is that Cincinnati is home because it's the home of Skyline Chili. Along with a deep affection for Skyline Nathan also has a passion for planes. If you don't believe this, try and get him to walk away from an F-22 Raptor; one would find it nearly impossible. Nathan loves the snow, not only because he enjoys cooler temperatures but also because where there is snow there is skiing!

Caution! Under no circumstances should one attempt to change the channel or do something else on the TV when the Red Wings are playing (especially if they're playing well, which this season is infrequent).
