Chris is a close friend of both the bride and groom.  He will be opening the ceremony with a scripture reading that the wedding couple chose.  He will also give a brief explanation of the scripture so as to shed light on why the couple chose this particular scripture.  Chris brings great insights to scripture and the couple is excited to receive his wisdom on the wedding day!

He will also do a prayer of blessing before the couple is wed.

Chris is not only a special friend to the couple but also attends Venice Church with them and is a gifted musician, vocalist, 2 time Emmy award winning director of photography and father of 3 amazing kids!

Jess Mollo is another close friend of the wedding couple!  She will be reading a scripture and blessing that was given to the couple by the bride's father.  This scripture will be shared during the Foundation Stone portion of the ceremony.  This stone was chosen by the wedding couple and is a part of the celtic ceremonial traditions. In a Celtic wedding the couple chooses a marriage foundation stone ... this stone is then used in the ceremony as they launch the foundation of their marriage.  Later the stone is kept in a place of prominence in their home as a reminder and touchstone of their foundational commitment to love until death. It was important that the couple choose a stone that resonanted with them both before settling on the one to be used in the ceremony.

Jess met Alex and Kimra through the church they all attend and has become a fast friend.  She is not only a gifted writer for the Serial Killers podcast but has worked on Bones and is currently Associate Producer at Discovery.

Maya Mendez will be performing the worship song Ever Be.  The couple chose this song because it not only resonated for them as a song of love between them as a couple ... but also as a love song to their heavenly creator God.  They believe that God has created them for each other and because of that they will speak of their love for each other all of their days; and they will be thankful to God for bringing them together for all of their days.

Venice Church has become their common ground of spiritual worhsip as a couple and this shared bond in worship has only served to strengthen them as a couple.  

Maya Mendez is the worship leader at Venice Church where they attend.  Maya is also attending UCLA and studying Neurosciences.

Dominic Syracuse will be performing (and supporting Maya Mendez) by guitar for the worship song Ever Be.  Dominic is an instrumental worship leader at Venice Church and close friend to the couple.

Not only is Dominic a good friend he is an actor, comedian, gifted musician and currently studying teaching.  He is also the father of an amazing son! The couple met Dominic at their church and became fast friends.  Dominic currently leads the growth group for Creative Professionals along with an acting class.

Seth Garcia is the son of Gina Eise the bride's Maid of Honor.  Seth has been a part of Kimra's life for many years.  He will be joining Courtney Haber in greeting the wedding guests as they arrive!

Seth is currently serving in the Air Force ROTC and will be joining the Marine's in service starting June 2018.  We joyfully celebrate this amazing young man's honorable service to our great country!  Thank you Seth!!
