Brad and I meet when we were both super young! I was 13 and he was 15. Even back then, sparks would fly between us when we would get the rare chance (and courage) to speak with one another. It started at a birthday party, when Brad refused to play twister with me and my friends. I actually flipped a couch over on him. Hats were stolen, jokes were made, it was a good time. We didn't actually start dating for two years after that. It was a lot of staring at each other from across the lunchroom (in an awkward teenager trying not to be weird way lol).

Some time passed, and yet again, a Christmas party gave us the chance to talk. On December 23rd, 2009, I asked Erin to be my girlfriend. I also accidentally introduced Erin to my parents on date numero uno. It was super awkward.

But movies are awesome, and totally saved the day. After that, Brad Graduated, and moved to Boston with Mom and Dad. And Squirt. Especially Squirt.

It was a long year.

However! It was full of phone calls, web cams, and long distance love letters. We made it through in one piece. Then Erin graduated and we moved around quite a bit, giving us experiences and challenges we wouldn't have changed for the world... or bacon. Now after seven wonderful years we have our own little apartment that we've made into a lovely little home, complete with our very own fur babies.We're so ready and excited to move into this new chapter of our happy lives together, whatever it may hold for us.
