Our dear friend, Lisa, is also a passionate ceremonialist whose presence creates deeply rooted sacred space. Such a Light being! iishana has known Lisa since 2008, when Lisa came to live at Healing Gate for 3 years. Her bright light helped launch this sanctuary we call home. Gifted healer and percussionist, Lisa gives much inspiration to her family, friends, and community. We are thrilled Lisa will marry us!

Bethann and I have been through thick and thin since 1986. Her indomitable zest for life has inspired me to laugh, dance, and generally GO-FOR-IT for almost 30 years. She brings a spirit of whimsy, elegance, and adventure to our wedding planning and ceremony.

Annamarie's exuberance for just about everything has been a highlight of about 400 weeks of my life. We began meeting once a week in 2007 (or 6?) to inspire and help one another "market ourselves". It became clear right away that this really meant stepping into our authentic passions and unabashedly admitting them to the world! Annamarie has asked all the right tough questions, told great jokes, and has held safe, productive space as co-coach and inspiring friend, helping me find my way to this dream come true!

Laura has shared her bounty of love, wisdom, giggles, patience, and so much more with me since 1999. She has cheered, "hang in there" countless times, offering assurances that things have a way of working out. I believed her! And, now she can relish being right.

Robin is a tenacious advocate and has helped me tune into and stand up for my heart since 2006. Gradually, she has worked her wise magic. Her on-the-mark enneagram insights, saying it like it is, and sista' wisdom stretch me again and again in all the best ways, one of which led me straight to Ananda.

Elise is a huge inspiration to me. Her love of the earth and spirit and family and friends and community and, well, all beings is formidable. She walks her talk, and, witnessing that (as well as her contagious laughter), I feel freer to dive more deeply into my life as a continous spiritual practice. Together we have shared in the leadership of a beautiful chanting group for three years now. As their representative and my friend, Elise holds witness to Ananda and my marriage and our devotion to Spirit.

John, or 'Chief' as he is known by his oldest friends and family, has been my best bud for forty years.  We roomed together at Andover, shared an apartment in New Haven, and have had each other's backs through thick and thin.  I am thrilled he is able to be my Best Man, especially when he plans to elope right after my wedding!

John has been my shamanic guide for twenty years, welcoming me into the magical realm of visioning in 1994, and has continued to aid in my varied initiations ever since.

Rod is my brother from another mother.  We have seen each other through love and work, heartbreak and ecstasy, and consumed phenomenal amounts of ice cream over the past twenty years.
