I was mad at Jacob that night because he didn't answer his phone or texts. Little did I know why he didn't answer his phone. Under the disguise of watching fireworks and eating dole whip at the Disney Polynesian Resort, I was put in charge of leading my family around the back of the resort to a small hill. When we reached the top, Jacob and his family were waiting for me (which I didn't know at the time). Wondering why I was brought up here I was taken by complete surprise when he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. I never felt happier when I said yes. I was later told that Jacob had spent a month preparing to ask the big question. He had even called and asked my parents for their blessing and permission to marry me. I am so lucky to marrying such a loving man.

Anxiously awaiting Katie's arrival, I couldn't have been more sure of anything in my life. Ready to propose, I was so sure I knew what I wanted to say. When the moment finally arrived, the most basic of languages failed me. But, I somehow managed to get down on one knee and propose. Something that I felt was a long time coming.
