While Erie is a small city, it has much to offer and is within driving distance of major cities like Pittsburgh, Cleveland, and Buffalo. There are a many hotels to choose from while staying in Erie. A few include Days Inn, Marriott, and Comfort Inn. If you will be flying to Erie, you can fly into Erie, however you will need to first fly into Cleveland and then from there take a small plane into Erie. You can also fly into Pittsburgh, Cleveland, or Buffalo and drive to Erie within 2 hours.

Attractions in Erie include Presque Isle State Park, the Tom Ridge Environmental Center, Waldameer and Water World (an amusement and water park), local shopping and dining, and even a children's museum. During the summer, Erie weather is warm and sunny. Plan to wear shorts, tank tops, and short sleeved shirts during the day and bring long pants and a sweatshirt for the cooler evenings.

The church is located on the west side of Erie and the reception site is in downtown Erie. To drive from the church to the reception site will be about 20 minutes. Depending on which hotel you are staying at, to drive to the church will be between 20-30 minutes.
