I was born and raised on good ol' Lake Erie in Lakewood, OH.  After graduating high school, I migrated south to Kentucky to attend Transylvania University as I worked on a Bio major.  College was a completely life-changing and enriching experience for me.  Over my years at Transy, I grew closer to God and truly learned what it means to follow Him with all my heart.  I met some of the greatest people a girl could ever know --in classes, through Campus Crusade for Christ.....and expecially through the sisters I came to know and love in Phi Mu.  This bond is something I have and will always cherish since making it my own when I first came to Transy my Freshman year.  

Having graduated from Transylvania University in May, I am now a second year medical student at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine.  I am working hard, loving it (most of the time), and can't wait to accomplish my dream of becoming a doctor.  In my spare time, I love being active. Hiking, running, working out, swimming, biking, tubing.....you name it and I'm probably down for it.  Sonny introduced me to Geocaching when we started dated, which has quickly become one of my favorite things ever!!  

I just have an energy and passion for life and love to live every moment of it.  I also have a passion for travelling.  There is such a wide world out there, and I love to learn and experience something new with every new adventure.  So far, I have had the opportunity to go all over Italy as well as sing in old cathedrals in Croatia and Slovenia.  I have been as far as Africa to enjoy a safari and make a difference by educating the people there about HIV and AIDS.  Volunteer travel has also taken me to the village of Jaibon in the Dominican Republic, where I spent four weeks with some wonderful boys at an orphanage and doing Vacation Bible School camps in the nearby community.  I can't  wait to see where life takes me next.

I love adventure of all kinds and I am most excited now about the next big adventure in my life......marrying the best man I have ever known, the Italian Stallion (he told me to write that......)....Sonny LaRosa!!!

I grew up right  in Greenwood, IN., a graduate of Center Grove, and currently attend Cincinnati Christian University where, in August, I will be finishing up my senior year.  

Over the years, my life has changed dramatically.  I was planning on attending a small university in Decatur, IL., but by the work of God, I passed on that opportunity and attended IUPUI for a year.  After serving at my home church and speaking with a few friends, I decided that CCU would be the place that would be the best place to train me for my passion in serving the youth of my community.

When I have some free time, I love being outside and embarking on random adventures.  I have an activity that I love doing called "Geocaching", or better known as a world wide secret scavenger hunt. Other than getting dirty and trekking through woods to find a small metal box, I also love the Cincinnati Reds.  Last year alone, I attended nearly 30 games!

I also love fishing and disc golf, even though I am not very good at the latter of the two.

Over the past year, I have adopted a passion for audio and video productions.  This past summer, I travelled for my school, recruiting students and working side-by-side the staff of Christ In Youth for a summer-long conference. Not only that, I currently work audio and video in the chapel at CCU.

God has blessed me so much in life thus far, and I am so excited that now He has blessed me with the opportunity to marry my best friend, Sara, next June!!!
