We are so lucky to have the people we love by our sides!
Deedee is the best sister I could ever hope for. We've had our moments growing up, but I wouldn't trade her for anything. She has been a shoulder for me to lean on, someone for me to laugh with and have endless fun memories with. We've had a great 22 years so far and I can't wait to see what future years bring. I'm so lucky to have her by my side!
Emily is one of my best friends and sorority sisters from college. I am so lucky to know her and have her as a friend. She's great when I just need to vent, laugh, make a list of things we're thankful for, cuddle...you name it! The bond we share as friends and as sisters in Phi Mu is something I cherish and am so blessed to have!
Anna is one of my best friends I grew up with in Lakewood, OH. Even though I thought she was a tall freak in a rainbow shirt when she came to visit our second grade class at Grant Elementary, I am really glad I got past that and we became friends! We have had so many great memories over the years, from slumber parties to backpacking, to tearing up the discotheques in Italy!!! I'm so glad I have my Anna Banana.
Amy is another one of my best friends from back home in Lakewood, OH. I have known her since sixth grade and we have had some great times since then. She's always had such a great heart, and I've enjoyed seeing that as we volunteered together in high school and with her church at places like the Ronald McDonald house. She has attitude, spunk, and she's not afraid to speak her mind....one of the things I like about her most!!
Matt is a friend who has been by my side through thick and thin and radiates God in every aspect of his life. He is someone who will call me out when I am wrong and is the support system that is needed. He has been someone who has kept me accountable thoughout my spiritual walk, and he shows a true interest in what is going on in my life. God has blessed me with his friendship, which shall continue as we both take on the next jouney of life.
Ryan and I met a few years back, and ended up being roommates in college. Ryan is one of those friends that no matter how long you are apart, its like you never skip a beat in the conversation. In March 2012, Ryan married his best friend, and I had the honor of being apart of his his wedding. Now, just over a year later, Ryan is going to be standing on stage with me when I say "I do" to the woman of my dreams. His support has been phenomenal and it is something that I am grateful of.
I met Michael when I was a senior in highschool. Instantly, him and I became friends and hung out quite often. Numerous nights were spent at his house either swimming, eating, or just relaxing. Michael also has been by my side though the thick and the thin. This guy also radiates Jesus, and with that him and I have grown very strong together as brothers in Christ.
Finally, my last groomsman is Ransford Walker. Through my friendship with Michael, I met Ransford. He is the "crazy" one out of the bunch. I will never forget the day that I asked Ransford to go fishing with me and I caught 8 fish, and he did not catch a single one. It doesn't matter how bad I beat him in fishing, he still loves me as a brother in Christ and will support me with whatever I do. It is an honor to be friends with this guy.
