Jess and her family are from Frederick, MD. She can best be described as a gymnastics junky. She began the sport at the age of 5 and began competing at the age of 7. When she was in high school she made it to the highest level of the sport and competed as an International Elite gymnast for three years. Following her Elite career Jess competed for West Virginia University from 2001 - 2005. After graduating with an Undergrad and Masters from WVU in Athletic Coaching Education Jess has continued her passion for her sport by coaching at WVU, Pitt, and Iowa State. She is currently a volunteer coach at the University of Illinois. Jess has also coached in a variety of gymnastics clubs and is a Level 10 Rated Judge.

Outside of gymnastics Jess is a huge football fan and loves cheering for the Baltimore Ravens and of course her WVU Mountaineers. Her other hobbies include reading, playing poker, traveling, rock music, and playing video games

Jay grew up in Brockton, MA and his family currently lives in Bridgewater, MA. Jay has also been known to dabble in the sport of gymnastics. He competed for the University of Massachusetts - Amherst from 1991 - 1995. After coaching at Somersault Gymnastics for about 8 years he transfered into the college scene and spent several years coaching at Ohio State and Iowa State. He is currently the Associate Head Coach of the University of Illinois.

Jay is a fan of everything Boston and loves to follow the Red Sox, the Patriots, the Celtics and the Bruins. He also enjoys watching Syfy and playing video games online with his pals from home.
