We are so blessed to have such great friends to help us on our special day! Our friends hail from all over the country and we are completely thankful for their support and time dedicated to our celebration.  Love you guys!

Karie Summers

Karie is my best friend from home. She is wonderfully loud, crazy, and the life of any party. We met over 10 years ago, and no matter how far away we are we've remained the best of friends! She lives in Middletown, MD with her husband Ryan and her three boys Issac, Landen, and Brody.

Liz (Bartgis) Tabbachino

Lizzie is one of my younger sisters. Being only two years apart we have been the best of friends for most of our lives (minus a very few years in our childhood where we "hated" each other)She and her husband Vinny reside in Frederick, MD with their dog Cody Johnson.

Catherine Bartgis

Catherine is my youngest sister. She is the smarty pants of the bunch as she is currently studying Nuclear Engineering at Georgia Tech. She is also an accomplished Equestrian rider

Julie Santos

Julie is Jay's sister who lives in Bridgewater, MA and works in downtown Boston.  She and her boyfriend Barry have a great love for cooking. I couldn't ask for a better sister-in-law!

Becky Carr

Becky is probably my longest known friend. She owns her own beauty business and currently resides in Frederick, MD. We competed gymnastics together at the age of 7ish! After a small gap in our friendship through high school, we found ourselves in a similar friend circle while I was in college.

Jenn Corkum

Jenn is one of my best friends whom I met during my last year at WVU. She is a fabulous head volleyball coach at Southeastern Oklahoma State. We have had some fun and crazy times together. Our lives as coaches always seem to follow a similar path.  Her and her future husband, Dan, reside in Durant, OK

Jay Lee

Jay and I have been best friends since college. We both competed gymnastics for UMass. Jay is always up for a new adventure or experience and is great for his unique perspective on life and any number of topics - if you are up for an interesting conversation ask him about something but be prepared to defend your opinion :)   Jay has a huge love of music and was in a band called "Charlie Freak" for a few years after college.  He still plays and writes songs to this day and is a great source if you want to check out some new music.  Jay lives in Maine with his wife Amy (who he met at Umass), and his two kids Maya and Aidan.

Sean Reardon

I met Sean while coaching at Somersault gymnastics club.  We lived together for a couple years during that time and had a great time living the bachelor life and a game of speed quarters could begin at any point.  Two things I'm still not sure of from the time we lived together is 1) how many people had keys to our apartment - it wasn't unusual for us to come home from work and find friends in our place that weren't there when we left 2) if the kegerator was the best or worst purchase that we ever made. Sean is great to hang out with because he is so easy going and is up for just about anything.  My current addiction to video games began with Sean, Ed and the release of Halo.  Sean and his wife Lindsay live in Easton, MA and they just had their first child - a boy named Nathan.

Bill Lorenz

Bill was one of my teammates at UMass. He dropped off the grid for a few years after school when he decided to move to the Bahamas and coach gymnastics. He almost made it out and became a scuba bum in the caribbean but then came those pesky student loans and gymnastics dragged him back in.  He had to move back to the US; stopped in Virginia to visit Barry and he never made it off the coach haha.  The next thing I know Bill is coaching at Penn St.  After a couple of years Bill gets a job at Ohio St and I get a phonecall.  I somehow get the job and we end up sharing a cubicle.  It's all downhill from there... (I'm sure you will hear many stories at the wedding). Bill is one third of the Jay, Barry, & Bill wolfpack. Bill resides in Columbus, Oh with his wife Dre and his daughter Maddie.  They are expecting another daughter so unfortunately Dre will miss the wedding.  We will miss you Dre.
P.S. I hate Bill

Barry Kistler

I met Barry while working at Woodward gymnastics camp many, many summers ago; we hit it off right from the start and we always managed to be there the same weeks.  Little did I know that Bill had been coming to woodward for a couple years when he was coaching in the Bahamas and he and Barry had become friends as well.  Barry always said I need to come to camp when "Bahama Bill" was there and we would have so much fun.  I know you are all very suprised it took me until Bill was living on Barry's couch to put that together ;).  The three of us have been hanging out ever since.  He is one third of the Jay, Bill, & Barry wolfpack. Barry and Jess also became friends when they worked at competing schools in the EAGL conference. Barry resides in Sterling, VA and is the assistant coach at George Washington University.
P.S. I hate Barry

Travis McCathie

I met Travis while I was workng at Iowa State. Travis' wife, Becky, was our athletic trainer. Becky was afraid to introduce the two of us; she thought Trav wouldn't appreciate my wonderful sarcastic humor (I think she didn't want to share haha)  So of course it was the opposite (I think she underestimated the goofy factor from both of us), we actually hit it off so well that first night that Becky was begging us it was time to go home and go to bed.  From there we developed an unhealthy obsession with "Scrubs" and as with many of my groomsman we communicate with quotes (I know kind of weird from the outside but really funny for us).  Travis and Becky left me in Ames (I'm still a little bitter about that haha) and moved to Minneapolis so Travis could attend Chiropractic school.  Now I always have a place to stay when I am recruiting in Minnesota :)

Matt Rowan

Matt is one of my oldest friends and one of the few friends I have stayed in touch with since high school.  I think we might have set a record for the number of times we were decided to get breakfast and show up late to school our senior year.  So much so that they changed the detention rules the year after we graduated.  During college and after we both had jobs with the Carney family working at the dog track and sidelines.  And of course there was all the time spent working the Brockton Fair and all the craziness that went along with that.  Who knew working a pizza shack and trying to avoid a gang shooting could be so much damn fun!  Matt lives in Belmont, MA with his wife Kelly and his children.

Ed Jeffs

I met Ed through Sean (they are childhood friends).  Ed is another culprit that contributed to my addiction to video games - we had many late night sessions of Halo and unreal tournament.  He was definitely one of the people that had a key to our apartment.  Ed is great to be around because he is so enthusiastic about everything he is doing and is always up for a challenge.  Whether it a 500 on 500 paint ball match, snow boarding in Montana or playing the hardest level of a video game (he thinks its cheating to not go on the harderst level); Ed is up for it!  If you are looking for a partner to take an intense adeventure Ed is your man.  Ed lives in Easton, MA with his wife Kristi (who by the way also had a key to the apartment :)
