 | I grew up in Salt Lake City, Utah. From an early age, music has always been my biggest passion in life. I started playing the piano at age 7, and I attended the Madeleine Choir School, starting at the age of 9. During that time, we went on pilgrimages to Europe, singing in many major Cathedrals. It was experiences like these that helped further my career in music. From there I went on to pursue two degrees in Organ Performance, first at Indiana University, and then at Yale University, where I received my Master's degree in 2008. After this, I moved to New York, working as an organist and soprano for a couple of years.
Then in 2011, life brought me to Seattle, where my parents (Tom and Gina), had recently moved. At first I thought I would only be visiting, but the longer I stayed, the more I fell in love with this city. And, little did I know that I would also fall in love with my future husband! Now, I enjoy cantoring at St James Cathedral along with singing in the St James Cantorai, Cathedral Choir, and Schola Cantorum. I've also been taking on new adventures as a blooming composer, as well as singing in a fantastic ensemble, Choral Arts. I have finally found a place to call "home," and I am so blessed to be surrounded by such wonderful family and friends! |
