Jaki and Stephanie met while living in Trojan Hall their freshman year at USC. The story goes that on move-in day Stephanie got locked out of her dorm room and asked Jaki, who happened to be walking past, for help. Of course Jaki was able to open the door (by sheer magic, Stephanie would have you think). They became fast friends and have been BFFs ever since, sharing not only a love for Disneyland but also a sorority (Alpha Chi Omega).

Jaki has known Carolyn since she was 9 years old. They met as neighbours back in Houston, TX and were close friends through elementary, middle, and high school. Though Carolyn lives in Ithaca, NY with her fiance, Ian, they still remain close friends even though they no longer play with plastic horses on Carolyn's bedroom floor.

Jaki and Beverly met at Camp Conrad-Chinnock, a camp for children with type 1 diabetes. Beverly was the energetic counselor, and Jaki the clueless medical staff for her cabin. The two girls bonded over a shared love of creative costumes and acting silly. Jaki loves Beverly for her endless fashion sense and makeup skills, and Beverly loves Jaki for her head massages (it's a fair trade).

Jaki and Katie met at Camp Conrad-Chinnock two years ago as well. They bonded by participating in wacky camp activities like Banana Olympics, creating unique memes, and going on deep, though provoking hikes through the mountains around camp. Though Katie goes to college far away from Los Angeles, they keep in touch during the rest of the year via Skype (yay technology!).

Our wonderful dogs, Charlotte and Henry, will be performing the duties of the flower girl and ring bearer, respectively. Charlotte is a 6 year old miniature pinscher mix that Jaki found at the Baldwin Park animal control in 2007 as a 3 month old puppy. She is an energetic, if bossy, play partner and is also a cancer survivor for about a year. She loves reindeer antlers and automatic car washes. Henry is a 1 year old lhasa apso/west highland terrier mix (with some other breeds thrown in for good measure) who loves everybody unconditionally. James and Jaki found him at an animal shelter in El Paso, TX and James brought him to California when he moved back last year. He loves baths (really!), wrestling with his sister, and wearing clothes (yes, really!).
