Ceremony

We found Secret Beach or Makena cove by accident. We were racing around the area on rented mopeds and we almost ran into a diver that came out of a wall at the side of the road. We asked him what beach it was and he told us that it was called Secret Beach. We entered and we think that we could tell you what Alice felt like when she first entered Wonderland. It was an amazing site to behold.

We chose Secret Beach because we fell in love with this small, intimate cove. The views are breathtaking and the combination of sand, lava, ocean, palm trees and views of Molikini Island makes it a perfect spot for Roger and I.  We decided on an evening wedding because Roger believes that a beautiful sunset is God’s reward for doing a good job that day.

Our ceremony will be very Hawaiian.  We have several Kama'aina (locals) performing the wedding ceremony in an ancient Hawaiian stye. When we met Kawaika and Joey we knew that we wanted to work with them because we believe they appitamize what it is to be Hawaiian.
